SAGES ROUNDUP OF FALL-WINTER 2005

First Semester 2005-2006 Sages Sports
The Sages Football team finished the season 2-7
The Volleyball team reached the Regional Complex finals
The Boys Soccer became the first team in MHS history to play at the State Championship site, losing to the eventual State Champions in the Quarterfinals.
The Boy’s Cross Country team made their first ever team appearance in the IHSA Cross Country Meet in Peoria. They finished 4th in Class A with Keith Butler (13th) and Scott Phelps (17th) earning All-State honors.
The Boys golf team won the Okaw Conference tournament and for the first time ever fielded an entire Girls golf team.
The Lady Sages are 4-11 going into the Holiday Hoopla Tournament.
The Wrestlers are 3-1
The Boys Basketball team is a surprising 8-4, led by sophomore Trevor Drake and junior Ryan Koncel.
